First release: read Excel and CSV, header validation, password and corruption detection, the <excel-82> form component
- Functions: inspect, check, readRows, rulesFromTemplate, makeTemplate; browser and Node; input is File, Blob, ArrayBuffer or Uint8Array
- Reads xlsx, xls and csv (UTF-8, UTF-16, EUC-KR detected); reports password-protected, built-in-password, corrupted and mislabeled files as error codes without throwing
- Headers are compared NFC-normalized and in order, with hints for spacing and case; warnings for resident registration numbers, macros, hidden content and merged headers (failOn promotes them to errors)
- The <excel-82> web component: drag and drop, results, preview, template download, upload (multipart or JSON), form integration, --e82-* CSS variables and ::part()
- Gzipped: about 29 KB for the CDN file, about 21 KB for the functions only; fflate is the only runtime dependency
- Files and their contents never leave the browser; the usage count sends only { version, url, framework } once a day and is turned off with data-82excel-telemetry="off"
